Joanne joined Finn Gledhill in 2016, having qualified in 2005. She had previously worked in Huddersfield.
Joanne initially spent much of her career dealing with private family law matters, however transitioned to our care department in 2017.
She now specialises solely in representing children and parents in proceedings brought by the local authority where the children are considered to be at risk of harm. She conducts her own court advocacy in the family courts.
Joanne has been a member of the Law Society Children Act Panel since 2019.
She is also a member of the Association of Lawyers for Children.
When not working, Joanne enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Football and dance are big features of their busy weekends.
