Malcolm Nowell

Originally from Cardiff, Malcolm Nowell came to Leeds to study law in the early 1970s. He joined Finn Gledhill in 1977 and has been with the firm ever since.

Over the years Malcolm has worked in various areas of the law, such as civil litigation, divorce and personal injury and he was on the child care panel for a number of years. He now specialises in criminal law and is an accredited representative who can assist clients at the police station. He has Higher Rights which means, like a barrister, he can deal with any cases at the Crown Court or Higher Courts, including the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords.

Malcolm is married. He has three children and two step children. He is very active, was a keen footballer in his younger days and still enjoys walking, fell running and travelling.
