David Lawton

David Lawton is Head of the Probate and Wills department.  He specialises in private client matters relating to the making of Wills, residential conveyancing and tax planning associated with Wills and probate.  He also deals with the administration of deceased estates and continuing trusts.

David is a member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners). STEP is an organization whose members are professionals specializing in trust and estates, executorship, administration and related taxes.  David is able to advise on the broad business of the management of personal finance or otherwise to introduce to other specialists where that is appropriate.

David has previous experience as a solicitor in a local small firm and a large national firm.  He is married with two children.  When he’s not working David enjoys cricket and football and serves on the committee of the local Law Society, organising social events.
